Download copy of TEC leaflet.
Thanet Excellence Cluster is a partnership of schools working together to raise achievement, realise potential and promote wellbeing.
Excellence Clusters are part of the government's Excellence in Cities programme for raising standards.
The Strands of the programme are:
EQ: Emotional Intelligence
Gifted & Talented
Learning Mentors
Learning Support Units
Behaviour Improvement
The work of the Thanet Excellence Cluster is lead by head teachers and the project director and by co-ordinators from each of the schools.
Staff development and training are important features of our work, including accredited training for Learning Mentors and Co-ordinators and a certificate in Emotional Literacy.
Good practice is shared across the Excellence Cluster and beyond through our website and through meetings, workshops and conferences.
